About Us
Darlene aka AGENT BUNNY
After retiring from the Philadelphia Police Department (1997-2017), I moved to New York City to live and grow old with my Dad. The beginning of 2020 was a tough year. I received a breast cancer diagnosis in January and in April my dad passed away. After going through chemotherapy and radiation all spring and summer of 2020, I was mentally exhausted! I am thankful for my husband, my three daughters and one son and their families, and our friends for their loving support.
In September 2020. I was looking for a way to gain my life back. I was offered an opportunity to work part-time and seasonal. I accepted. In the same week, I was asked to become an agent. I immediately refused. As I listened to the help provided, and heard the gratitude from clients, their voices pulled at my heartstrings and my passion to help people, I found place where I could assist. I accepted the offer. In April 2021, I became an insurance agent, focusing on health insurance. February 2023 I was no longer needed at the company, so my husband and I decided to open my own business. At absolutley no charge, I want to use my knowledge to help as many people as possible. I can help ease some of the anxieties associated with choosing a health plan. I will:
• Assist you in choosing the best plan for you
• Be available as much as possible for your convenience
• Always provide my services for free
• Go above and beyond to assure your satisfaction; even after you enroll
• Advocate on your behalf, if you have a problem that contacting the insurance company did not solve
• I will clearly explain and disclose information to enhance your health insurance understanding
• Cherish our relationships as we become trusting friends
